LaBek is a recording vocalist in the world of jazz, blues and cabaret music. She is known for her sultry vocals and smooth sophisticated style. With a voice that is equal parts powerful and soulful, LaBek brings a fresh and modern approach to the classic sounds of jazz and blues.
Hailing from a musical family, LaBek was raised on a diet of jazz, classical, world and soul music, and began singing at a young age. As she honed her craft, she quickly developed a reputation as a talented and versatile performer, capable of captivating audiences with her dynamic range and emotive delivery.
LaBek moved to Boston where she was a professor at Berklee College of Music. Throughout her career as a performer, director and educator, she spent many years developing her craft bringing her experience and wisdom to recording her vocal artistry. In an increasingly fragmented and virtual world she believes, artists need to help the world remember it’s heart and what it has forgotten about it’s own humanity. Her fifth CD “All In the Mix” has just been officially released and is available on all streaming platforms.
Today, LaBek is a sought-after performer and recording artist, with a string of critically acclaimed releases to her name. Her music is a blend of traditional jazz,and blues elements with a blend of contemporary influences, resulting in a sound that is both classic and original.

The title, refers to the acceptance of the amazing, and sometimes unexpected mix of people, music, struggles, places, difficulties and joys of life! Each song on the album delves deep into important social issues, touching on topics like climate change, feminism, and mental health awareness.
